Artist Annie Montgomerie creates a world of fantastically curious creatures. Each piece is individual and unique because she makes use of items and fabrics that she finds around her town of Dorest. Because of her use of recycled materials and individually sculpting each head, no two pieces will ever be the same.
Annie states that she does not accept commission work, nor does she take reserves on pieces either. I am left to sit and watch her Etsy store in the hopes I may get lucky. Those who know me know I need a sloth ;) And a lamb...and a bunny...and probably a cat or three. Oh, and that parrot!
These are everything creepy and awesome and adorable that I love - I must own them!
What do you think? Creepy or cute?

Artists are being targeted by another artist who is trying to shut them down by a Trademark Troll. In the trademark world, a troll is generally understood as one who attempts to register a mark and then demands payment and threatens litigation against unsuspecting companies that have adopted the same or similar marks.
